However, New York's luxury buyers did not seem fazed -- the number of contracts signed was up slightly week-over-week, and high-priced contracts were signed at new developments all over the city.For boutique condominium The Henry, developer Naftali Group and Robert A.M. Stern Architects reunited on the Upper West Side in the wake of successful Upper East Side collaborations at The Benson, The Bellemont, and 200 East 83rd Street. The Henry, located at 211 West 84th Street, is off to a promising start with a total of $67,075,000 across eight contracts signed last week, with four ranking among Manhattan's top ten sales of the week.
Leading the charge was Residence #7A, a five-bedroom duplex asking $15,450,000. As per the floor plan, the lower level houses a double-height living room, formal dining room, separate kitchen with breakfast room, and library/bedroom with en suite bath. Upstairs are four bedrooms, all with en suite baths.
A few stories up, Residence #12WEST had the fifth-highest contract with a $12,725,000 asking price. Another five-bedroom condo, this home features a Great Room on the building's southwest corner, pocket doors separating the kitchen, and a primary suite located at the opposite end of the apartment from the Great Room.
Elsewhere in the building, Residence #14EAST and Residence #6C had the week's eighth- and tenth-highest contracts with asking prices of $10,550,000 and $9,125,000, respectively.
